Violence erupted at a English soccer match between Millwall and Wigan. Millwall fans were seen fighting among themselves and with security officials. Wigan won with a 2-0 victory.
"The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is investigating sporadic disorder amongst fans in the Millwall supporters area of Wembley Stadium at today's FA Cup semi-final," the Metropolitan police said.
"The police response was robust and proportionate and 11 people were arrested during the game in connection with the violence that broke out shortly before half time and full time"
"Four police officers received minor injuries." Police said.
Television footage showed several supporters bloodied, police using batons, and a child in tears as the trouble continued.
