Brazilian league match Violence



Violence sparked during a game between Atletico Paranaense and Vasco da Gama on the final day of the Brasileiro season. The game was stopped due to violence. It left three fans seriously injured.

Both of the supporters of Atletico Paranaense and Vasco da Gama charged against each other and it took several hours for police to control the situation in the southern city of Joinville. They punched and kicked each other several times until police arrived and fired rubber bullets to clear the crowd.

Those who are injured were hospitalized but none of their injuries were life-threatening, doctors of Hospital Sao Jose said.
