Juninho Helped Galaxy to MLS Cup final



Juninho made a goal to tie the game early in the 2nd half that helped the Galaxy secure a trip to the MLS Cup final, the conference final game against the Seattle Sounders ended 2-2 (2-1)on aggregate Sunday night. There were fireworks and confetti while Landon Donovan and his team was awarded the Western Conference championship trophy.

Donovan said that "I'm sort of just in this moment right now." "I just want to prepare myself for one last week and do everything I can to help this team win. I really want to go out a champion." Donovan wants to end his career a champion, he has one more game to play before he retire and MLS Cup final will be held next weekend on his home field.

Seattle Sounder was able to win the 2nd-leg 2-1, however road goals were applied as a tiebreaker in the MLS Cup playoffs for the 1st time in the current season and Galaxy took advantage of it after a 1-0 win in the 1st-leg last weekend. Brad Evans and Clint Dempsey were able to hit a goal for Seattle in the initial 32 minutes. Galaxy were trailing 2-0 at halftime. Juninho (LA Galaxy) right footed shot from outside the box to the bottom left corner which is also his first goal since September 21, 2013 kept Donovan's career alive for one more game.
